Während dieses 3 Stunden langen Workshops wird Anna Euch animieren Eure eigene Mixed-Media Leinwand mit Produkten von Tattered Angels, Hambly Screen Prints und Graphic 45 zu kreieren. She’ll demonstrate possibilities of mixing different medias, scrapbooking supplies and found objects to get layers, details and unique, grungy look of your project. Vintage ist ein Stil, dessen Scham in gedeckten, grazilen Farben, elegantem Aussehen und subtilen, weiblichen Embellishments liegt. Er erinnert an Großmutters Truhe, die man auf einem Dachboden findet – voll mit alten Schätzen: Photos, Postkarten, Liebesbriefe …alte aber immer noch elegante Hüte oder ein Paar Handschuhe. Vintage is einfach magisch. Lass Dich von Vintage bezaubern…lass Dich auf eine Zeitreise ein. Während dieses 2.5-stündigen Workshops wird Anna zeigen, wie man Notizbücher selbst machen kann. Schritt für Schritt wirst Du ein Vintag Cover und Notizbuch -Blätter kreieren und dabei eine Bind-it-All Maschine verwenden, um dieses Projekt zu beenden. Sie wird Euch ein paar Tips geben, um dem Cover Dimension und Farbe zu geben, wird Rat zu Acryl Stempeln geben und zeigen, welche Möglichkeiten man mit Tattered Angels Produkten und anderne populären Medien hat.
Der Workshop ist geeignet für Anfänger und Fortgeschrittene – wir werden eine großartige Zeitreise haben und einige Vintage Elemente verarbeiten.

Vintage is a style, which charms with muted, delicate colours, elegant look and subtle, feminine embellishments. It brings to our mind a grandma’s chest, found on the attic, full of old treasures: photos, postcards, letters from the loved ones… old but still elegant hat or a pair of gloves, left in one of the drawers. Vintage style is simply magical. Let it charm you… let it take you in the real journey in time.
During this 2,5 hours long workshop Anna will demonstrate the way to create real handmade notebooks. Step by step you’ll make vintage cover and the notebook’s pages and also use Bind –it-All machine to finish the project. a She’ll give you some tips about adding dimension and colour on the cover, give advice about acrylic stamping and show possibilies of Tattered Angels products and other popular media.
This workshop is suitable for beginners and advanced scrapbookers – we’ll have great time travelling in time and adding a bit of vintage elements to our paper projects.

Who is Finnabair?
My name is Anna Dąbrowska – Pękocka, but I tend to use my nickname – Finnabair or Finn to make it shorter. I live in Warsaw, Poland, just in the middle of Europe, with my supportive husband – Jedrek, who understands my passion. I love photos, new challenges in my life and a cup of black tea somewhere nearby;)
My crafting adventure started in the end of 2007, when I learned about decoupage and then in 2008 about scrapbooking and I made my first pieces … and I fell in love. My next step was trying mixed media – and my love got even deeper! Now I’m totally addicted – especially to layouts. I run small, individual workshops in scrapbooking and mixed-media from time to time or create as a freelance designer for scrapbooking magazines or local shops and manufacturers.
What is my style?
It’s hard to define my style I think – sometimes it’s grungy, sometimes artsy, sometimes funky or shabby – or it’s everything mixed together! Are the names important? I don’t think so 😉 I love mixing different techniques, supplies and medias in my projects, as I think the joy of experimenting and the pleasure of creating freely is most important in every kind of art. I enjoy creating my own backgrounds using paint, sprays, texture pastes or fabric, I simply adore found objects, espiecially metal ones, and my all time favs are gears and watches parts. I’m a scrapbooker and mixed media artist, whose main inspirations are moods and emotions which I usually feel very deep. I try to express them – and express myself in most of my projects in the way I which is the most true and honest with my point of view. My emotions are usually messy and rough – ad so are my layouts: industrial, grungy and cluttered, full of dark colours and objects which can have many interesting meanings. I adore gears, mechanic elements… they in my opinion they represent the change, the process and impatience but also something carefully planned. The other symbols I use are butterflies and moths – representation of metamorphosis, finding yourself and listening to your own needs and feelings… I think mixing them with traditional scrapbooking embellishments like flowers or decorative strips is like confronting two worlds – it’s just like our lives, sometimes rough, sometimes sweet 🙂
As you probably understand my love to found object is the reason why I alter objectts and decorate them with things often considered by others to be nothing more but rubbish…but for me it is like giving a new life to them, finding beauty in everyday objects which surround us. Altered books, hand-made notebooks and notepads, tags and magnets are my way of grasping the rality and making it more cosy, more mine. I would like to invite you to come into my world and to start opening your eyes wider for all the things that are around you – it is a great crafting adventure!

Mein Name ist Anna Dąbrowska – Pękocka, aber ich verwende meist meinen Spitznahmen Finnabair or Finn um es kürzer zu machen. Ich lebe in Warschau, Polen, in der Mitte Europas, gemeinsam mit meinem mich unterstützenden Mann – Jedrek, der meine Leidenschaft versteht. Mein Bastelabenteuer startete Ende 2007, als ich von Decoupage hörte und dann im Jahre 2008 ging es weiter mit Scrapbooking und ich habe meine ersten Stücke kreiert und habe mich total in das Hobby verliebt. Mein nächster Schritt war dann Mixed Media- und ich liebe es noch mehr. Jetzt bin ich total süchtig – besonders beim Layout machen. Ich unterrichte kleine indivduelle Scrapbooking und Mixed Media Workshops und designe von Zeit zu Zeit als ein Freelance Desiner für Scrapbooking Magazine oder örtliche Scrapbooking Läden und Hersteller.
Mein Stil:
Es ist schwierig meinen Stil zu beschreiben – manchmal grungey, manchmal künsterlisch, funky oder shabby- ein halt einfach alles zusammen! Sind Namen wichtig – ich denke nicht 🙂 Ich liebe es verschiedene Techniken, Medien und Werkzeuge zu mischen, weil ich denke, dass die Freude am Experimentieren und die Freude beim freien Kreieren das Wichtigste in jeder Art von Kunst ist. Ich liebe es meine eigenen Hintergründe mit Farben, Sprays, Textur Paste und Stoff zu kreieren. Ich liebe gefundene Objekte, insbesonere Metallobjekte und mein Favoriten sind Ritzel und Uhrenteile. Ich bin ein Scrapbooker und Mixed Media Künstler dessen Hauptinspiration Stimmungen und Emotionen sind, die ich oft sehr stark spüre. Ich versuche diese auszudrücken – und drücke mich in den meisten meiner Projekte in einer Art aus, von der ich denke, dass sie für mich unverfälscht und ehrlich sind. Meine Gefühle sind meist durchander und grob und so sind auch meine Layouts: industriell, grungy und dicht gepackt, voll mit dunklen Farben und Objekten, die interessante Dinge bedeuten können. Ich liebe Ritzel und mechanische Elemente, weil sie meiner Ansicht nach den Wechsel, den Prozess und die Ungeduld repräsentieren…aber auch etwas, dass sehr sorgfältig geplant ist. Die anderen Symbole die ich oft verwende sind Schmetterlinge und Motten – die für mich Metamorphose, das sich finden und das Hören auf die eigenen Bedürfnisse und Gefühle representieren. Ich denke das Mixen von tradtionellen Scrapbooking Embellishments wie Blumen etc. mit meinen Lieblingsaccesories ist eine Konfrontation zweier Welten – es ist wie unser Leben , manchmal hart, manchmal leicht 🙂
Weil ich gefundene Objekte liebe, bearbeite ich diese oft und dekoriere Dinge, die für andere nichts anderes als Müll bedeuten. Für mich bedeutet es aber, diesen gefundenen Objekten neues Leben einzuhauchen und Schönheit in allem was uns umgibt. Altered Bücher, Handgemachte Notizbücher, Tags und Magnete sind mein Weg der Realität für kurze Zeit zu entkommen und es sie angenehmer und sie mir anzupassen.
