to our Blog regarding information about our ScrapJause Event 2011.  Here are the main informations for our english speaking friends -we are looking really forward to have you !!!!

When & Where

The event will take place February 2011 – 26-27th in Reisbach ( Größere Kartenansicht)  in the Hotel Schlappinger Hof.

You can book your own rooms (Single/Double or more) yourself here. The room is not included in our workshop packages.

Workshop Teacher

The workshop Teacher will be Anna Dąbrowska -Pękocka from Warsaw Poland and Nathalie Kalbach from Germany. The event is organized by the two and Birgit Moosbauer.

Workshop Time Table

The workshops will be held by Anna in English and by Nathalie in German- but Nathalie can translate into English any time since she is teaching a lot of international workshops. Anna’s Workshops will be translated into German as well.

Die Gedanken sind frei – Layout Workshop with Nathalie Kalbach

Thoughts are free, who can guess them?

In this layout workshop I want you to let your thoughts free and create a playful and fun layout about yourself. We will free ourselfs and learn fun techniques to add dimension on our layouts, which you can later on adapt for future projects and layouts. In this 3 hour workshop you will experiment with paints and forget your every day life. Nathalie will show you how to use the Tattered Angels Paint Products like Glimmer Mist, Glimmer Glam, Glimmer Glaze and Glimmer Chalkboard. This workshop is suitable for beginners and advanced scrapbookers.

 

Workshop 2 Anna – Samstag 26.02.2011 – 13:45–16:45

Creative Grunge – Canvas Workshop with Anna Dąbrowska – Pękocka

Grunge is a style, without creative boundaries – you may give as much or as little elements as you want, you may use medias and inks…and whatever comes to yur mind too! Don’t be afraid to mix and blend look around you to find awesome, embellishments in your own house. Let yourself to be creative – let yourself to be free!

During this 3 hours long workshop Anna will encourage you to create your own mixed-media canvas, including products from Tattered Angels, Hambly Screen Prints and Graphic 45. She’ll demonstrate possibilities of mixing different medias, scrapbooking supplies and found objects to get layers, details and unique, grungy look of your project. This workshop is suitable for beginners and advanced scrapbookers – let’s get our fingers dirty together!

Workshop 3 Nat – Samstag, den 26.02.2011 -17:15-19:15

Fashion Journal – Minialbum Workshop with Nathalie Kalbach

If you look at your photos of the past centuries do you recognize a certain piece of fashion you totally adored and wore many times? Or remember that piece you really had to get but made you look like a fashion victim? Maybe you are like Nat a nerd if it comes to shoes and can’t resist to collect them? Whatever it is – fashion is a part of us, so let’s combine an personal fashion magazine and art journal into a fun fashion journal. Using all of Tattered Angels‘ paint media and Tattered Angels Products as well as beautiful Graphic45 paper and Hambly products, Nathalie will teach you fun techniques which can be easily applied on projects in the future. Fashion up some colorful pages full of dimension and texture and let your creativity flow in this 2 hour long mini-album workshop.

Workshop 4 Anna – Sonntag 27.02.2011 – 10:00-12:30

Vintage is a style, which charms with muted, delicate colours, elegant look and subtle, feminine embellishments. It brings to our mind a grandma’s chest, found on the attic, full of old treasures: photos, postcards, letters from the loved ones… old but still elegant hat or a pair of  gloves, left in one of the drawers. Vintage style is simply magical. Let it charm you… let it take you in the real journey in time.

During this 2,5 hours long workshop Anna will demonstrate the way to create real handmade notebooks. Step by step you’ll make vintage cover and the  notebook’s pages and also use Bind –it-All machine to finish the project. a She’ll give you some tips about adding dimension and colour on the cover, give advice about acrylic stamping and show possibilies of Tattered Angels products and other popular media.
This workshop is suitable for beginners and advanced scrapbookers – we’ll have great time travelling in time and adding a bit of vintage elements to our paper projects.

Workshop 5 Nat – Sunday den 27.02.2011 -13.45 – 16.15

Steampunk Dream – Canvas Workshop with Nathalie Kalbach

Steampunk is a paradox world full of magic – industriell but dreamy! Steam, copper and brass is running the futuristic yet victorian looking dream world. Let’s create a retro-futuristic fun canvas where art and handcraft is one with a spin as a wonderful eye catcher of your home or studio decoration. Using all of Tattered Angels’ paint media and Tattered Angels Products as well as beautiful Graphic45 paper and Vintaj Embellishments, Nathalie will teach you fun techniques which can be easily applied on homedecor and other projects in the future. Come and join her in this “out of the box” , 2 1/2 hour long workshop!

Workshop 6 Anna – Sunday 27.02.2011 – 16:30-18:30

It’s So Natural – Home Decor Workshop with Anna Dąbrowska – Pękocka

Nature is the biggest, neverending inspiration for the artists of all kinds: musicians, painters, photographers – and scrapbookers too! Floral motives are the most popular ones and match all the styles ant tastes… why not create a floral decoration for your own home – it is not only  fun and relaxing, but gives you the opportunity to have something  really unique!

During this 2 hours long workshop Anna will encourage you to make decorative fridge magnets with not only traditional scrapbooker supplies and tools but also handmade embelishments – like beautiful paper flowers. She’ll give you some tips about adding dimension and colour on the projects and demonstrate possibilies of Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists and other popular medias.
This workshop is suitable for beginners and advanced scrapbookers – just let free your creativity – it’s so natural!
